The lower motor mounting location makes the CG of quadcopter lower.
A large space for control system and electronic stuff.

Frame plates are also the PCB board which can be used as distribution board. This makes the connection between the battery and ESCs quite easy.
The new specially designed M2.5 bolts are for secure the arms to the frame plates.

- Great frame - buy a few Review by Nick

I have purchased this frame and it was very easy to setup. I have 4 esc's zip tied to the under side of the arms and even have room to mount LED's. I do have to say that I wish the booms were a little stronger. As a novice pilot, during a crash the boom breaks near the motor and can't be easily repaired. I bought 2 frames and used the second as spare parts. Even though I've broken a few parts from crashing it's very good and the price makes it ok to crash and break a few parts. 20A x 4 Four-in-One Quadcopter ESC on the bottom there was plenty of clearance and placed the battery in
the middle still plenty of room for cameras or whenever. (Posted on 5/28/2013) - Good frame, but it does have it's issues. Review by Craig

The frame is like many other DJI F450 clones, but I really don't like the PCB layout, especially the solder points for the ESC's. They are really close together and are located on a really funky angle. (Posted on 5/15/2013)Quality Value Overall - good product Review by Allen

It's a good frame. My only problem was the Skywhatever 4 in 1 ESC doesn't fit the top part without hitting the tops of the frame bolts, and can not fit in the lower part with a typical 3 cell battery. I had to raise it up slightly with a square balsa standoff, then stick my Ardupilot control board on top of that. Unless you use this exact setup, it will not effect you though. Other than that 1 quirk, it's a quality frame at a great price.Quality Value Overall
4 park 400s equivalents and a 3s 4k battery will hover this frame at 45% power on 10x4.7 slow flys. (Posted on 4/24/2013) - Its a Quad!! Review by DS_Meerkat
-
This quad is just like other "Flame Wheel" quads out there by numerous manufacturers. DJI, Hobbyking and others make this same "type" of quad. However, the arms on this thing are thinner than others I've seen, so you are more likely to break them. Its a nice quad with PCB (no need for power distro board) but order extra arms if your a newbie!!
